How pricing works
Ground-source jobs vary more than most heating jobs, so we do not print prices. We give you a written number after the site visit, with the parts listed.
What drives the cost
Five things move it most.
The loop field: bore depth, count, soil and rock
The heat pump and its size
Radiators or ducts, reused or changed
Electric service and panel
Permits, restoration and removing the old system
What the proposal includes
Each line says what is done, with which equipment.
Scope in plain words
The equipment model and size
Permits and inspections
Haul-away of the old system
Restoration of the lawn and drive
Warranty terms in writing, with what they do not cover
How long the number holds
What it leaves out
So there are no surprises.
Air sealing or insulation done by someone else
Electrical service upgrades, unless listed
Repairs to radiators or ducts we did not find at the visit
What happens at the visit
We walk it and read your bills.
We tell you the visit fee before you book it
We say whether it comes off the job if you go ahead
You get the proposal in writing, not on the spot
When you get the number
After the visit, not before.
A written proposal, ground-source and air-source where it makes sense
Questions answered by the person who wrote it
No work booked until you sign

The site visit is how we get a real one.
